Edward Farrell is a cyber security consultant with over fourteen years experience in cyber security and eighteen years experience in the IT industry. As the director of Mercury, he has conducted and overseen the delivery of over 900 independent cyber security audit activities and incident responses in the past eight years. Edward’s professional highlights include:
- Fourteen years experience in cyber security, including solutions development and professional services in his current cyber security practice. This has seen Edward develop a strong mix of technical, operational and strategic skills that have honed his ability in the consulting space.
- Experience as a technical researcher, presenter and communicator. Edward has presented at over 50 events in Australia and abroad and developed training materials for the Australian Defence Force Academy and Australian Army. This has seen Edward develop a strong grounding in cyber security and ability to communicate to a variety of audiences.
- Service as a member of the Australian Army Reserve, including operational deployments and multinational exercises.
- Accreditation as an IRAP assessor.
